Ai and YuKi are the first Japanese artists to perform a long-term solo residency in Las Vegas for one full year. They are a female duo illusionist team.

In Japan, they completed over 100 magic live tour performances annually with their unique artistic style. They later moved to Los Angeles, USA, where they continued to present their original magic shows, creating a sensation.

In 2007, they performed six times at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, known as the "World’s Hall of Fame of Magic," including a full week of consecutive performances. This led to their nomination in the "Stage Category" at the Magic Castle Awards in March 2008.

In April of the same year, they held their first solo show in the U.S. at the San Gabriel Theater in Los Angeles.

In 2009, they appeared three times on the FOX network’s major magic special, Masters of Illusion. Following this success, they relocated their base to Las Vegas — their dream stage.

In June 2010, they became the first Japanese artists to achieve a long-term solo residency in Las Vegas. Their show, titled "Zen Magic" was a full-scale entertainment performance that fused aerial acrobatics and magic, captivating audiences around the world.

Zen Magic – The Las Vegas show that moved 150,000 people

"Ai and YuKi" are the first Japanese artists to successfully carry out a long-term solo residency in Las Vegas successfully.

From June 2010 to May 2011, their show was held at the Saxe Theater inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel, a casino hotel in Las Vegas.

This remarkable achievement was even featured on the TBS documentary program "Jonetsu Tairiku", attracting widespread attention.

To begin with, for Japanese artists to perform continuously for an entire year in the U.S. - especially in Las Vegas - is an extraordinary accomplishment. This is not only due to the difficulty of drawing large audiences, but also because American entertainment culture has traditionally been reluctant to embrace Japanese acts.

As evidence of its significance, even well-known American artists struggle to land a spot in Las Vegas casino shows, making the competition extremely fierce.

Despite this, Ai and YuKi’s show Zen Magic earned a No. 9 ranking in Las Vegas’s Top 100 Most Popular Shows.

Achieving such a high ranking in the highly competitive Las Vegas scene - where even some Cirque du Soleil productions fail to make it into the Top 10, proves that Zen Magic was truly valued and recognized by American audiences.
